Recovery for Betrayal Trauma

Discovering that a spouse has been battling sexual addiction creates deep trauma that is difficult to put into words. Recovery is a process and should include both support, education, and trauma treatment.

The Fundamentals of Sex Therapy

A variety of factors, including physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual issues, can contribute to or give rise to sexual challenges. Typically, sex therapy includes tasks that individuals or couples complete at home in between sessions. These tasks often focus on communication, physical and sexual education, reducing anxiety, fostering curiosity, and exploring sensations and perceptions. Sex therapy never includes touch.

Distinctly Christian

Seeking help for sexual issues can  cause anxiety, fear, or shame. For Christians it is vital to know that the provider you work with knows, understands, and honors your beliefs. There is a peace of mind that comes from knowing that your provider shares your beliefs and that sexual issues will be handled within a Christian framework.
