Therapeutic Services

For clients who request to have their Christian beliefs integrated into therapy, I use these beliefs as a source of healing. I craft other therapeutic interventions around the belief in a good God who loves and cares about you.

Eye movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based treatment for trauma that uses bilateral stimulation to successfully communicate to the brain and body that past traumas are no longer affecting an individual. I have many years of experience using EMDR and use various advanced protocols.

Having strain or conflict in your marriage? Are you missing a sense of connection and enjoyment with your partner? I am trained in Gottman level 1 and 2 and use this approach to inform how I work with couples.

I tend to use emotion focused methods but also look at how relationships, limiting beliefs, and lack of purpose can be factors with depression and trauma. My aim is that each client would learn tools to become their “own therapist” by tracking their inner world and using effective resources to manage depression and anxiety.

Trauma affects the body, soul, and human spirit. I use experiential based treatments, such as Sozo and Immanuel Approach, and blend this with traditional clinical treatments such as EMDR. Whether small traumas or full post-traumatic stress disorder, healing is available, and Christian trauma therapy is perfect for those wanting their faith to be a pivotal part of therapy.

I am available to teach mental health-based topics in churches or other settings around the subjects of marriage, healthy relationships, trauma, and other mental health themes.
